What you will make
The studio uses terracotta clay, and a variety of slips and glazes.
Depending on the class or workshop, you will have the opportunity to
make cups, bowls plates as well as sculptural and expressive ceramic work.
Skills You’ll learn
Safe use of pottery tools and equipment alongside gaining confidence
in artistic expression through the material of clay.

In 2023 community artist and potter Meg set up Fond Ceramic Studio
within the Boiler House. The intention of the studio is to create a
welcoming, creative space for ceramic education and practice.
Over the past several years Meg has built and developed skills in the
facilitation of clay workshops, and believes there is great importance in
the social and health benefits of bringing people together in creative
practice.
